Topper's Photo Tips #6 - Shoot with manual focus in the rain...at night

his is one I've not long since learnt myself having got it wrong!

If you're shooting in the rain, especially if it's at night and you've got to use a flash, use manual focus. Why? Because as your camera goes to auto focus it'll detect the rain that's being illuminated in by your flash. The only way to overcome that is to use manual focus so you can see beyond it.
